As we know from talking to TRION in numerous interviews over the past weeks, they have pretty high standards for customer support and it looks like players are being very well compensated if they have had to wait for a long time to get responses from customer support. IncGamers guild member Dorjan had submitted three support tickets and had to wait three or four days. So how did TRION respond?

To Dorjan’s surprise he received an email a few minutes ago offering a full free month as well as special pre-order items to compensate him for the wait. Now you have to admit this is an excellent response from TRION who are showing they are very keen to keep players onboard and provide a top quality customer service. Here’s the mail Dorjan received.

Recently, you had to wait through an exceptional delay during the processing of your request for support — a delay that did not and will not meet our high bar for responsiveness. For that, you have our sincere apologies.

This is not the experience that you should expect from Trion Worlds. To help make up for the delay, we have:

• Credited your account 30 days of play time.
• Bestowed via in-game mail, to all your current and future characters, a full set of the special RIFT pre-order bonus weapon enchant runes that you may not have had previously.

No action is required on your end. These items and days of play time have already been added to your Trion Worlds account.

We know this does not entirely make up for the frustration you have encountered, but this is our way of thanking you for your patience.

I do hope TRION keep up this level of support, it goes a long way to keeping customers satisfied and breeds a healthy atmosphere within the community. With all the recent hacks and issues the support team were inundated with support requests so response times could be slow. Well done TRION for compensating players.
