Meridian
Smelly Cat
A critter in Meridian is called Smelly Cat, which is a reference to the song sung by Phoebe Buffay in Friends.
Meridian Scholar and Scholar Dumbar
These NPCs, which can be found in Orphiel's Spire in the Defiant Headquarters, when clicked, say "Way to go, future us-es!" which is a line from the movie Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.
Scarlet Gorge
ClapTrap
The Robot by Broken Toe when the quest chain given by the vendor is actiated is called ClapTrap which is a reference to the robot guide in Borderlands
Rock Ridge
Reference to the cult classic movie Blazing Saddles.
Stonefield
In Stonefield where the titan skull is, if you go to the back of the mouth there is this small puddle, and if you put your camera underwater you can see Google streetview images.
Iron Tomb
Ghost Trapping Quest
"You are who they call" is a reference to Ghostbusters and the movies song by Ray Parker Jr where the chorus includes the line "Who you gonna call" .

Restores health and Mana. Mathosian for Ale and also a reference to the Australian brewed Fosters lager.
Mudder's Milk
Reference to the beverage from an alcoholic beverage found in the city of Canton on Higgins' Moon in the now cancelled sci-fi show Firefly.
Sweet Berry Wine
Reference to John C. Reilly playing Dr. Steve Brule in the Sweet Berry Wine Sketch
Iron Pine Melange
Malange is a fictional drug in Frank Herbert's Dune series

Reference to Niel Peart, the drummer from Rush, who is recognised as probably the best drummer on the planet.
Scotty and Fiona, the quest series in general
Reference to eurotrip and the famous song where scottys best friend is singing about all the ways he has had sex with scotty-s girlfriend fiona. This song was playing in my head during the whole series.
Petry Dunklage
Scarwood Reach there is a Dwarf NPC called Petry Dunklage who is the Porticulum Master. He is named after the real life actor Peter Dinklage
Doctarin Tardice
Porticulum Master in Iron Pine Peak is a reference to the BBC's Dr Who sci-fi series.
Terry Tomis
Townsperson in Lakeside Outpost, Freemarch. Terry Tomis could be a nod to Terry Thomas (14 July 1911 – 8 January 1990) who was known for his portrayal of upper class gentlemen and cads.
Calwyn and Machinist Hobart
Machinist Calwyn and Machinist Hobart in the Library in Meridian is a reference to Calvin and Hobbes.
Lorem and Ipsum
Planar goods vendors in Gloamwood called Lorem and Ipsum which is a reference to the default latin text used as placeholders in documents.
Suze Vega
Porticulm Master in Gloamwood is a reference to singer Suzanne Vega
Deep One
Reference to Deep Ones creatures in the Cthulhu Mythos of H. P. Lovecraft.
Cohen Barbarus
Planar Goods vendor in Grabnote Falls which is a reference to Cohen the Barbarian from the Terry Pratchett books.
Tobasco, Lexington and Anchovy
PC Gamer "editor squirrels ,Tabasco, Anchovy and Lexington" from a PCGamer news story on RIFT. Squirrels can be found outside Meridian.
Nichobad Caveseeds
Mob by Iron Pine Peak loom is a reference to the artist and his band, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
Poor Tom
Poor Tom in Sanctum, reference to Shakespear's King Lear.#
Slippy
Level 22 neutral Mob found in the miners cave inside Titan's Skull is a reference to Starfox' Slippy.
Ripely, Noot, Hubson, Hecks and Ash
At Loggerman's Lift you will find NPCs named after key characetrs from the Aliens movie. Ripely , Noot (Newt), Hubson (Hudson), Hecks (Hicks) and Ash.
The Iron Pine Peaks Healers
Most of them have names derived from classic Goth Rock Bands. Petyr Murfee (Peter Murphy of Bauhaus), Roburt Smyth (Robert Smith of the Cure), Andru Eldrich (Andrew Eldritch of Sisters of Mercy), Wain Hussi (Wayne Hussey of the Misson), Danyel Ashe (Daniel Ash of Bauhaus, and Love and Rockets), Nena Hagun (Nina Hagen), Iyn Kurtice (Ian Curtis of Joy Division).
Private Ecks and Private Sever
There are two patrolling NPCs at Kain's Command named Private Ecks and Private Sever. This is probably a reference to the movie Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever.

Leaders in Santum at the throne
Perform any action in front of three main NPCs, or ever Floop, and you will buffed with Blessing of the Fallen for four minutes.

Quest in Scarwoood Reach references the Yes song Owner of a Lonely Heart
Seed of Destructiuon
Quest in Silverwood could be a reference to the Everquest expansion pack called Seeds of Destruction which was released in 2008.
A Hymn of Frost and Flame
Quest In Iron Pine Peak could be a reference to the books by George RR Martin.
We Have the Technology
Shimmersand quest is a reference to the television series about a former astronaut with bionic implants, The 6 Million Dollar Man (1974-78).

A song from the the 1980 animated Return of the King movie.
A Bridge Too Close
Reference to book and movie "A Bridge too Far" (1977).
